Against strong competition and in recognition of High Standards of Construction and Workmanship within the Wyre Borough, Addison Project plc have been awarded ‘The Building Excellence Award 2012’.
The Award was presented to Addison at an official ceremony on the 2nd March by the Mayor of Wyre Council – Councillor David Bannister – for the Design & Build of a client’s Manufacturing Facility.
Operations Director Richard Horrocks comments, “I am delighted to be presented with this award on behalf of the company. We work very hard indeed at Addison to provide our clients with high quality and competitively priced services. Above everything else we do things safely and by removing unplanned site activities, where the greatest safety risks occur, we can achieve industry leading results. We receive many pleasing comments from our customers, consistently delivering beyond their expectations, but to be recognised in the wider community with a Building Excellence Award from the Council is very rewarding indeed”.
Terry Harrop – Project Manager comments: “I am extremely pleased that we have won this award as it demonstrates how adaptable Addison Project have become. By designing and building this high quality office & manufacturing facility, shows we have the ability to adapt and excel in different spheres of engineering, in addition to our traditional process plant projects”.
Peter Hasset, (the Local Authority Building Regulation Inspector) comments: “Addison have won this award as a result of constructing a manufacturing facility to a very high standard and quality. We also noted the highly professional way in which the Addison design and construction teams interfaced with Wyre Council, not only on this project but other projects too. Addison have an excellent reputation and are recognised as a first class employer in the area”.
